It is the birth of a new golden age of discovery and a renewed desire to explore the cosmos. Governments have failed to keep up with the public demand for a space faring civilization and so have turned to their own privet funding to feed the fires of interplanetary exploration. The first of these pioneering privet companies are beginning to prove that the stars belong to the people not governments. It is the dream of some to bring Kerbal kind to this last frontier and make it their own.
